I could have titled this post "Chasing Children". These days I haven't been taking many photographs of my grandchildren. They really aren't cooperative. The minute they hear the beep of a recording device, they put on their blank, emotionless or worse scathing stares. They run away endeavoring to defeat all attempts to capture their joyous, carefree lives. As a Grammy, I try to give them their space. But, it isn't easy to watch all those precious moments go by undocumented. I know how quickly the magic of childhood passes. So, I sneak in a snap here and there. Someday when they are grown with children of their own, they will look back and appreciate their photographic history. This is my oldest captured while I chased her chasing bubbles.
